Have you noticed a resurgence of interest in journal writing (personal diary, memoir, life writing), a subject I specialized in teaching during the early years of the National Museum of Women in the Arts? New workshops in 21st century journal writing will be offered at the Hill Arts Center, a fantastic renovated historic space. Register for my journal writing workshops through the Writer’s Center. Journal writing and visual diaries (scrapbooks, collage, self-portraits) offer perspectives to our inner lives.
More about L Peat O’Neil.
Hola Peat, glad to know about this place, I hadn’t realized there were programs there.
Hello,
I was interested in registering for your intensive travel writing class through the Writer’s Center (Tuesday, November 1). Unfortunately, Tuesday is the last day of the Transistions class I’m currently taking. Are you teaching anywhere else this fall or could I make other arrangements with you? I was also interested in your Travel and Food Writing class, but again, I couldn’t make it work with my schedule.
Thanks,
Susan Robinson
I plan to teach Travel Blogging at Hill Center through Writer’s Center this winter. I do not have the final dates and schedule yet.
Writing the Family Food Memoir was also proposed. I also teach Travel Writing online through UCLA, but they haven’t
set their winter/spring schedule. Check the Writer’s Center website and look under Locations tab or call Hill Center after their official opening Nov 19, 2011, 202-549-4172.
Glad to hear of your interest – stay in touch and we’ll find something that fits your schedule.
